Born in Harrisburg Pennsylvania Ken’s family moved to Maryland when he was 16. Art has always been his first love. He virtually spent his entire career as a graphic designer in serving various industries including publications.

Now in his retirement years, Ken is entering shows and plein air competitions, joined artist organizations, participating in workshops and simply painting as much as possible. Over the years Ken has been commissioned to paint many pet portraits as well as several landscapes. He has sold paintings through various shows, word of mouth and competitions. He participates in Maryland Plein Air events; Paint-It Ellicott City 2021 – 2022 winning the Carol Zinc Award in 22, Easton Plein-Air Quickdraw 2022 and 2023, Chestertown Plein-Air 2021-2022. This past year he was a juried artist in Paint It Ellicott City 2023 and received an honorable mention award. Additionally, he has donated paintings from time-to-time to benefit several fund-raising events.
