Mary Ford’s paintings are inspired by the natural world, with an expressionistic twist. Her fascination with entomology, natural history, and the inter-connectedness of life is apparent in her work. After almost 40 years as a graphic designer in San Francisco, Mary returned to Easton where she grew up and her family still lives. Mary joined the Working Artists Forum in 2018 and now serves as the Board’s Recording Secretary. Her work has been shown at the Talbot Senior Center, Plein Air Easton Local Color, the Easton Library, and Rise Up Coffee Roasters. Mary paints daily, both in her studio and outdoors. She is affiliated with the Plein Air Artists of the Chesapeake. Mary holds a BA in Art from Towson State University.
