A lover of nature, Abby paints “en plein air” and in the studio. She has participated in plein air events including Wayne Plein Air, Easton Quick Draw and the Winter Park Paint-Out. Abby has exhibited her work in PA, MD and FL and her work hangs in private home collections and two galleries on the East Coast. Abby paints and teaches locally and in a beautiful sunlit studio at her home.
“I am dedicated to painting dramatic landscapes, simple still lifes and vintage architecture capturing the distinctive light and patterns that surround my subject. I am inspired by the dynamics of the creative process and the challenge of interpreting a scene. I enjoy sharing my inspiration and fundamental painting techniques and beliefs so that my students can reach their own personal aesthetic.”
