My paintings are expressions of the inner qualities of life – beauty in simplicity, bounty and balance in our natural environment, and the cyclical nature of life. As a painter, I am drawn to nature and like to explore and portray the impact it has on our lives. Watercolor is my preferred media for expression of my artwork. Through the use of a limited palette of primarily transparent colors, I can build rich layers of glazed hues and textures. I prefer a clear, realistic approach as I try to share my impressions of the world around me. To share my experiences through art is a source of much joy.
